The founder
Echocraft Sound Labs was founded by Joel Dean, who leads its creative direction. For nearly two decades, he has worked across sync, custom music, and campaign-driven composition. Since 2018, he has been the founding partner and CCO of JDM Music + Sound.
His work spans album releases and custom music for campaigns including Michael, Avatar: Fire and Ash, One Battle After Another, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Knives Out, and hundreds more. Before JDM, Dean was a composer and creative director at Butter Music + Sound, composing and leading music across hundreds of national television spots. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music.

The platform brings that workflow into one focused place, built for editors, music supervisors, agencies, and production teams, while giving composers a direct home for their latest and most inspired work.
